Sunday 29th September

Last day of freedom before work starts. But I’m excited although I’m a little worried about getting up on time. I’ve been thinking of places to hide my phone. Hopefully I’ll get up on time and not go back to sleep. The air in the rooms is always very warm which just makes me want to sleep. I must form my will into a fist and say NO to sleepy time. NOOOOOO!!! NOOOOO!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!
So, today was laundry day. We got down to the launderette only to find we needed washing powder. We went to the shop where we had to wait about fifteen minutes for them to open before getting the liquid (there was no powder) and heading back to the launderette. After figuring out what counts as light fabrics and what counts as dark fabrics we got our clothes washed. I have no proper way of drying my clothes so I have come up with an ingenious solution. I hang them on the pipes above the sink in my room as they’re nearly always hot. I also have no iron so my clothes will be all wrinkly. Thank goodness I wear mostly skinny jeans.
After that the day was my own. I chilled in my room for most of it and made noodles for dinner. After that I went over my timetable for tomorrow and got everything organised. I’d better get to bed as I have an early start tomorrow. Goodnight!
