Saturday 28th September

Today John and I went down to the shopping centre to get the week’s groceries. The store was very crowded and it was rather difficult to manoeuvre the trolley around. Eventually we got most of the stuff on my list. Wow, I was able to do my weekly shop for just £19.93. I’ll be able to live off that no trouble. Also looking forward to cooking my own meals this week which will be a little more adventurous than last week’s meals which were tubs o’ noodles, ready meals and a couple of bacon omelettes. It’s somehow really satisfying to cook and eat your own meals.

Anyway, we then went back to the university. John carried my shopping all the way back even though I offered to help several times. After that the day was pretty much spent relaxing. I made myself some noodles for dinner. They were alright; a little bland perhaps but at least they’re food.
I went back to my room for the evening and drew for a bit. Anyhow, gonna go to bed now. Night!
