Friday 27th SeptemberToday was the day of the fresher’s fair. It’s where you can go see what clubs and societies the university has to offer. I had a couple of things to take care of first though. I made myself a shopping list for tomorrow and a meal plan for the following week. I then took my laptop to the tech guys in the art building, hoping they could take a look at it. It’s been heating up something terrible and I think it’s the fan that needs cleared out. Unfortunately they couldn’t but they told me to take it to the laptop repair shop near the refectory. I decided to do that after the fresher’s fair.The fresher’s fair was an absolute blast but very hot and crowded. I joined the archery and video games and animation societies. There is no bubbline society. I am disappointed *pouts* XDAfter the fair I bought a laptop cooling tray which works a treat. I made myself a bacon omelette for dinner and listened to some 50s and 60s music, my favourite kind.Later o
Wednesday 25th SeptemberWe had the morning off so I got to sleep in for a bit. I chilled for a while before going down to the student’s union to see about a form I had to get the university to fill in regarding a financial matter. They directed me to the student’s centre which is a massive yellow building across the campus. I went over there and got the form filled out but they couldn’t send it for me. I have to do that myself.I got to class just in time and got to meet my 2D animation tutors. They all seems really nice and I’m looking forward to classes starting even though bits of it sound a little daunting. The tutors left us to talk amongst ourselves for a bit and learn a little bit about each other.At 2pm we were told to go on a scavenger hunt as a team building exercise. We got so far but then had to stop as we had no money on us to get to a nearby town that was on the scavenger hunt list. We gave up and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon.At around 6 I got up to make myself
